Sending Email Issues

[09:05] We're investigating an issue with sending email within clients at the moment. If you are receiving messages stating that your password is incorrect, when sending email, please wait 10-15 minutes and try again. We appologise and will update you on a resolution to this as soon as we get it.

[09:15] No further update at this time.

[09:30] There's a database issue affecting mail client logins (and these notice messages taking 5-10 minutes to show up!) that appears to be the root cause. Our server admin team are working on why this is occurring.

[09.50] No further update at this time.

[10.00]  If you have contacted us and have not received a reply, please accept our apologies.  We are currently unable to receive emails or respond via the helpdesk.  Please bear with us and we will respond as soon as we can.

[10.15]  No further update at this time.

[10.30]  No further update at this time.

[10.45]  No further update at this time.

[11.05]  Service has now been restored.  You should start receiving email that was sent to you during this outage very shortly.  Any email sent out is currently queued and you may receive a message saying it has been delayed, but it will also soon be delivered.

If you are still experiencing any further issues after 15 minutes, please do get in touch with us.

[14.31]  Though service has been restored, there is a large backlog of emails still being processed by the servers.  This may result in some delays in sending and receiving email.  Please bear with us while the queue is cleared.

[16:06] All delayed email have now cleared our systems.

The eMentoring platform is designed to help alumni and graduating students connect so that alumni can advise and give guidance to Concordia alumni embarking on their chosen careers. This could be anything from a few emails or checking a CV/application, to meeting face to face or even offering work experience.

The idea is that alumni can donate as much or as little of their time as they can spare to helping those in need of a helping hand at the beginning of their careers.
