Service Slowdown (Resolved)

Some users may experience a slight slowdown in the service (e.g, logging in and reading emails). We are currently investigating and will keep you informed.

[09.40] Some of our members will be experiencing a degraded service due to a failed disk in a RAID array. The service is still online and all data is safe it is just running slowly whilst we liaise with the datacenter staff to get the disk checked.

[10:30] The drive was reseated a short while ago and the RAID is now updating itself. The service will remain running slower (slow page loading or in some cases \"504 Gateway Timeouts\" ) than usual for users affected whilst this takes place. We have no ETA on the completion of this process at this time but will update you as soon as we do.

[12.11] The RAID is continuing to update. Some users may be unable to log in due to an overload on the remaining servers. We are pulling the storage server with the degraded RAID array out of the cluster and putting all affected users onto other storage servers. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

Re-connecting

Concordia Alumni Connect is a great place to reconnect with fellow alumni, gain industry knowledge and share career expertise and opportunities with each other and the next generation of Concordia Alumni.

Professional Network

Trying to get back in touch with old classmates? Or to find alumni in your area or field of work? Find the connections you need to further your career or business.

Concordia Map

This map helps you see where in the country, or indeed the world, other Concordia alumni are based.

This could be useful if you are visiting an area for a holiday, on business, or completely relocating to a new place and keen to connect with others who share your experiences of Concordia!

eMentoring Platform

The eMentoring platform is designed to help alumni and graduating students connect so that alumni can advise and give guidance to Concordia alumni embarking on their chosen careers. This could be anything from a few emails or checking a CV/application, to meeting face to face or even offering work experience.

The idea is that alumni can donate as much or as little of their time as they can spare to helping those in need of a helping hand at the beginning of their careers.
